More Features - The advanced Platinum controller utilizes a digital display with an integral UV intensity meter and includes an elapsed time meter to advise you when lamp replacement is required. Platinum models can be used with an optional electrically operated shut-off solenoid valve to stop the flow of water in the event of an alarm condition (UV lamps are normally replaced after 1-year of operation).
