The Cobalt-Plus line of disinfection systems use high-output UV lamp technology coupled with efficient axial flow reactors. This 8 GPM ultraviolet disinfection system incorporates a UV intensity monitor for conditions where water quality is unknown and/or a monitoring system is desired. Cobalt systems “bridge-the-gap” between our standard Silver and high end Platinum UV disinfection systems. Cobalt ultraviolet sterilization systems use a high-output coated low pressure germicidal UV lamp to provide a 99.99% reduction in bacteria and viruses. These systems are manufactured from 304 stainless steel axial flow reactors and incorporate our new Cobalt "PLUS" controller providing constant output current and a universal power input (100-240V./50-60Hz.), as well as visually displaying % UV output, remaining lamp life and total days of operation.

Quality Construction - Sterilight Cobalt units are constructed with a 304 stainless steel housing, high grade quartz tube, and have 1 inch threaded inlet/outlet connections (this unit also contains 3/4 inch internal threaded connections).
More Features - Sterilight Cobalt-Plus UV units are equipped with an on-boad 254nm UV intensity monitor, that continuously monitors the system and warns of any changes in water quality or if the water becomes unsafe to drink. The system also comes with a powered solenoid output that allows you to hook a normally closed solenoid valve directly into the controller.(UV lamps are normally replaced after 1-year of operation).Visit our UV Sterilization Information page for more details.
Great Warranty - Sterilight Cobalt units are covered by a 7-year warranty on reaction chamber and 5 year pro-rated warranty on components other than probe and lamps.

Replacement UV lamp - Having a spare lamp on hand is convenient in the event of unexpected lamp failure. Supplied with o-rings. Note: to protect your system from power surges, we recommend plugging your system into an inexpensive surge suppressor. Part number S200RL-HO.
Replacement Quartz Tube - Although not an item requiring regular replacement, a spare quartz tube eliminates down-time if the original tube is damaged. Supplied with o-rings. Part number QS-200.
