Polyethylene tubing is typically used during for connection to a water softener or automatic backwashing filter drain fitting. Although 10 feet of tubing is provided at no charge along with the purchase of any of backwashing equipment, longer lengths are sometimes required. This flexible clear polyethylene tubing carries waste water to drain during the regeneration and/or backwashing cycles. Tubing is 5/8" in diameter (1/2" ID) and supplied in 100'' rolls.
