Our OXY-MAX air injection system uses air to safely remove sulfur from your water. The OXY-MAX-S is used to remove sulfur at typical levels, and will oxidize and remove lower levels of iron too! The system can also be configured with an high performance Centaur grade carbon to remove elevated levels of sulfur.
First, the Oxy-Max system uses a stand-alone compressor to inject air into a vent tank, causing the sulfur to precipitate. After the vent tank, a self-cleaning backwashing filter removes the precipitate, and polishes any residual sulfur that remains. With the OXY-MAX system there are no chemicals to measure, replenish or contaminate your water. The OXY-MAX system is a safe and maintenance free way to solve many sulfur problems.
Other air injection systems can use venturies and micronizers that place heavy loads on your well pump system. Our OXY-MAX design uses a stand-alone compressor to inject pressurized air directly into the system without restricting water flow, eliminating well pump problems! The OXY-MAX is configured with a "double aeration" configuration to solve high sulfur and dissolved solids problems. The system also incorporates an electronic venting device that is more reliable and efficient than mechanical air vents. The OYX-MAX compressor injects air only when your well pump is in operation - minimizing wear and electrical costs.

Description
By-pass valve - This is a connection to your water supply that allows you to take the included backwashing filter out-of-service. Used when you are away for an extended time, or if service is required to the unit. Included!
High Flow Riser & Backwash - The included backwashing filter systems use a high flow 1.05" distributor with a gravel underbed to ensure effective performance, and proper distribution of flow throughout the bed. The Autotrol control valve automatically delivers the high backwash rate required for proper cleaning and reclassification of the carbon filter bed. Included!

Well Pump Voltage - The OXY-MAX system includes and air compressor that is tied into the electrical leg of your existing well pump. Please specify the voltage of your pump as either 110V or 220V. Free!
Removal of Higher Levels of Sulfur Our standard OXY-MAX-S system uses a 12 x40 mesh high activity GAC. For even greater sulfur removal efficiency, the system can be configured with Calgon's high quality patented "Centaur" carbon. Centaur carbon is a superior grade of GAC that is catalytically active to promote removal of elevated levels of sulfur. Additional $125
