The Microline CTA-3 replacement filter set includes a pre and post filter cartridge. Although this system is not offered for sale, replacement filter sets for these units are available. The recommended filter set replacement interval is six months to one year. All filters are factory supplied O.E.M.
Note: CTA systems MUST be used in chlorinated water supply applications only! CTA (cellulose triacetate) reverse osmosis membranes have an organic composition, and are subject to biological attack. Because of this, you should only use a CTA based reverse osmosis system in applications where there is no biological contamination present, or where chlorine is present in the water as a disinfecting agent.
Because RO Membranes only require infrequent changing, they are not included with annual replacement filter sets and must be ordered separately.
