Out-of-the-box thinking and years of research have produced a totally new point-of-use drinking water system. The new Merlin RO System features continuous-flow water production, so a storage tank is no longer required. The unit operates on line pressure (minimum 40 psi required), which eliminates the need for an electrical pump. The patented high-production, low-energy membrane purifies up to 720 gallons of water per day. This high capacity performance creates new opportunities for light duty commercial applications – and great for the residential homeowner too! The system is NSF standard 58 approved, and has a compact design that can easily fit beneath the kitchen sink. Supplied with a complete installation kit that includes a designer faucet and all interconnecting tubing, the Merlin installs quickly and easily. Covered by a 3-year limited warranty for residential applications, and a 1-year limited warranty in commercial application. NSF Standard 58 Certified - The GE/Merlin Tankless Drinking Water System has been Tested and Certified by NSF International against NSF/ANSI Standard 58 for the reduction of Arsenic V, Barium, Cadmium, Chromium III, Chromium VI, Copper, Cyst, Fluoride, Lead, Nitrate, Nitrite, Radium 226/228, Selenium and TDS.
High Quality TFC Membrane - The Merlin reverse osmosis system uses high quality Thin Film Composite Membrane (T.F.C.), producing excellent drinking water at a fast rate. Since T.F.C. membranes are not chlorine–resistant, the Merlin system features a sediment/carbon pre-filter. This specialized pre-filter prevents any chlorine from entering the membrane, allowing T.F.C. systems to be installed on both municipal and private well supplied water systems.

Pressure Booster For low water pressure applications (less than 40 psi), a booster pump designed just for the GE/Merlin unit is available as an option. Booster systems require a 110-120V/50-60Hz electrical supply. The pump is quiet and energy efficient - and will automatically shut-off off when water is not dispensing.
