The deluxe "CleanSource" model comes with the high quality UltraCarb filter that contains a ceramic element with a 0.9 micron filtration efficiency, to remove rust, sediment and water-borne parasites like cryptosporidium and giardia. An extruded carbon block center contained inside the ceramic shell will reduce chlorine, unpleasant taste and odor, and is impregnated with a special absorbent to reduce lead. The CleanSource filter system contains an on-board microprocessor based flow meter that indicates when cartridge replacement is necessary. The fiilter includes a diverter valve that easily attaches to your faucet. Replacement cartridges are supplied in quantities of three as an option, or on our Countertop Water Filters page.
