These are commercial quality housings! The 20 inch filter housing is available with 3/4 inch NPT inlet/outlet connections. The 10 inch filter is supplied with either 1 inch or 1.5 inch NPT inlet/outlet connections (use 1.5 inch connections for 1.25 inch diameter pipe applications). All units are rated for flows up to 20 GPM. For very high flow applications, a 20 inch filter is available with 1 or 1.5 inch NPT inlet/outlet connections and rated for flows up to 40 GPM. Housings do not include filters cartridges - please select a set below.

| Cartridge Filter Housing Elements |
|
Sediment or radial-flow carbon (GAC) cartridge filter elements are available for all of our housings - other specialty cartridges are available - inquire for more information. The interval of time between filter replacement varies depending on the amount of sediment and/or contaminant contained in your water, but typical replacement is required every three to four months. Cartridges are supplied in quantities of three.

|
The 20 inch filter housing with 3/4" connections can be mounted with a standard duty wall mount bracket. The 10 and 20 inch filter housings with 1" & 1.5" connections are mounted with heavy duty wall mount brackets. Only available when purchased with a cartridge filter housing.

| Harmsco System-7 Housing |
|
The Harmsco System-7 (HIF-7) filter system is recommended in applications where a heavy particulate load or difficult to remove clay sediment is present. The rugged stainless steel System-7 is designed with a series of filters installed in parallel to minimize pressure drop. The system uses seven (7) filter cartridges that can be washed off and re-used two to three times. Housings do not include filters cartridges - please select a set below. We normally recommend that our customers purchase an additional set of filters, so that you have a clean set on-hand when the installed filter cartridges require changing. | Harmsco Filter Cartridges |
|
Filter sets for the Harmsco System-7 are supplied in case quantities of 24 cartridges. When used in the HIF-7 housing (above) this is enough for 1-set in service, and 2-sets as spares. A five micron filter set is used for most standard applications. 20 micron (coarse) sediment filters are used when large particulate or "cloudy" water is present. Clay has a very small particle size, and effective removal of clay requires the use of 0.35 micron filter cartridges. Other sizes are also available below.
