CAI offers the 64,000 grain capacity WS2FM softener featuring the advanced Aqua-Pro 5000 series control system. With a fully programmable microprocessor control and on-board power back-up that maintains time settings during a power outage, this up-flow regeneration and proportional brining system continuously measures how much of the ion-exchange resin bed is exhausted. Based on this measurement, the unit only regenerates the exhausted portion of the bed - this conserves the amount of salt that is required during a normal regeneration, and provides the highest efficiency and lowest salt consumption. The system also provides high flow (1” connections standard) & low pressure drop. The resin tank, manufactured by Structural, is poly lined and fiberglass reinforced. The standard softener is a "two tank" configuration with a separate poly brine tank. This is a premium system and comes complete with a light grey designer jacket and matching brine tank, 2.0 ft3 of premium grade Ionac C-249 resin, brine valve & safety float, and system by-pass valve. No turbulator or brine tank grid available with proportional brining systems.
